Tears suffice

When your eyez
find it hard to sleep,
I m drowning in this
sea so deep,
And you know I want
to change,
But you can't even
recall my name,
As it turns out
it wasn't a dream,
Sea water runneth
over the brim,
my cold stares
are justified,
If I say I like this
I lied,
But I ain't ashamed
to say I cried,
Nobody mourned
when my smile died,
Let me go
to the other side,
Let my feet
touch the summer tide,
I m stronger
than you think,
I know it will be
hard to breathe,
When I am
at this altitude,
But you learn whatever
little oxygen is there can be used,
Let me
reach higher,
I, myself
be my desire*
